We live in Brisbane Australia and have had a migratory Drongo visit (our autumn/winter) for the last 5 years. Magnificent birds with aerial acrobatics which mesmerize us.
He seems to be able to sense good food before he leaves his perch...very picky eater.

Sancho, thanks for your comment, you could indeed be right, pound for pound the Irukandji pacts a heavier punch than the regular Box-Jelly but since they are so incredibly small and there is so little known about them it is hard to say which would hurt more. The Irukandji jellies are actually in the same class of species so hence it might have been more correct to mention both the Box-Jelly and Irukandji at number one.

so this is the third website i have found that is incorrect. the irukandji is the most venomous animal on earth. there are two known species of irukandji with more powerful venom than the box jelly. please research a little more. it did'nt take me but five minutes to find this fact out.

The Giant hairy scorpion should be on there because the deathstalker is not as venomous as the giant hairy scorpion and it injects way, way less venom. Giant hairy scorpion's venom is nearly fatal.
First of all, the solenodon is kind of weird looking to be able to inject venom.
Second of all, the coastal taipan is more venomous than the inland taipan.
